Cross-Connect ASIC

Cross-Connect ASIC is an integrated circuit targeting SONET/SDH applications. Cross-Connect ASIC allows non-blocking switching of tributaries within one OC-192 stream from line side & four OC-48's stream or sixteen OC-12's stream from system side.  Any tributary entering on either stream can be connected to any same size tributary within either outgoing stream. This integrated chip cross-connects mix of SONET ( T1, T2 or STS-channels) as well as SDH ( TU-11, TU-12 channels). Cross-Connect ASIC operates at 3.3/1.8 Volts using single internal/external 77.76MHz clock. Full parity checking and generation is supported on input/output data buses. The device offers 8/16/32 bit data bus for interfacing with processor/DSP for device operating configuration. Stand alone core can be integrated to FPGA as net list black Box or RTL Code.
